About Us…
Exemplar Theater has been a home for curious film lovers since the beginning. We’re an independent cinema dedicated to bringing you the films that stay with you — the ones you can’t stop thinking about on the drive home, the ones that make you see the world a little differently.
We have two screens: Screen A offers open seating, so you can settle in wherever feels right. Screen B has reserved seating, so you can plan ahead and save your favorite spot.
When you’re not in the auditorium, you’ll find us in the lobby. Grab something from concessions, or settle into Lounge for a bite before the show. The Lounge features a well provisioned bar and is a great place to decompress after a film — and there’s always someone nearby who wants to talk about what they just saw. Please note that Exemplar Theater is a licensed facility; valid identification is required to be served alcohol.
Getting here: A taxi and rideshare stand is located nearby, with accessible drop-off available in the venue driveway (no standing). Underground parking is available at $8 daily until 5pm, and $2 per half hour after 5pm. The Main Street subway entrance is directly across from our main west entrance, and bus routes 1, 5, 23, and 87 stop one block north of the venue.
